AI-assisted documentation

Your notes.
More like you.

Emo can learn your writing style from notes you choose, so drafts need less reworking over time. You approve style changes and review, edit and sign every note.

How style learning works

Choose 3–5 of your own signed notes. Review, edit and accept a proposed writing preference before it shapes future drafts. Revisit it as your style evolves.

A therapist’s perspective

I spend less time catching up on notes now. I’ve shown Emo how I like to write, so there’s less to rework. Seeing what clients share between sessions helps me notice what needs attention before we meet again.

A few practical answers

Before you get started.

Have a practice-specific question? Talk to us ↗

How is Emosapien different from an AI scribe?

Alongside AI-assisted notes, Emosapien connects preparation, optional in-session support, shared client work and private practitioner reflection around one continuing case. Reviewed notes and client responses help you prepare for the next conversation. You choose which tools to use and review AI suggestions.

Can I try Emosapien before choosing a paid plan?

Yes. A Free plan lets you explore core note-taking without a credit card. Start with the workflow you need, and compare paid options as your needs grow. Check pricing for current inclusions; available features follow your plan, settings, consent and permissions.

Who owns client data, and how is it protected?

Your practice or organization owns its client data. Emosapien processes it to provide the service, with encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access and audit logging. We do not sell session data or use it to train public models. Review applicable data-processing terms and agreements before using client information.

Do I stay in control of notes and clinical decisions?

You review, edit and sign clinical notes, decide what clients receive and make the clinical decisions. Ordinary sessions start with recording off. Transcription and saved recording are separate; saving a recording follows consent in supported workflows. Manual notes remain available.

Do clients need to download an app?

Clients respond to work you choose to share. Supported assignment links do not require an app download, and the client app brings invited work together. Responses are for practitioner review, not real-time monitoring. Emosapien is not a crisis or emergency-response service.

Can I use Emosapien with my existing tools?

Available connections include calendar review and import, eligible saved-recording imports, and PDF and FHIR exports for supported clinical records. These workflows depend on the connection, permissions, consent and account setup. Check the integration details for your tools before connecting.

Does Emosapien support in-person and remote sessions?

Yes. Emosapien supports in-person sessions and built-in telehealth, with documentation and optional session support in the same workspace. Available tools depend on your plan, setup, permissions and consent.

How do I get started?

Follow the signup or access-request steps. Once your account is ready, add your first client and session and choose an available note format, such as SOAP or DAP. You can begin with manual notes; review settings and obtain required consent before enabling optional AI support.
